Heating Control & System Integration
The Heatmiser Wireless Window / Door Sensor is engineered to improve heating efficiency by preventing unnecessary heat loss. When paired with a compatible thermostat or neoHub Gen 2, the sensor detects an open window or door and places the linked heating zone into standby mode. Once the opening is closed, normal heating operation automatically resumes.
This intelligent interaction is particularly beneficial in zoned underfloor heating and radiator systems, where maintaining energy efficiency across multiple rooms is essential. The sensor can be assigned to one or more zones, offering flexible system configuration for larger properties.
Smart Features & Connectivity
When used within the Neo system, the wireless sensor pairs directly to the neoHub Gen 2 and communicates with connected neoStats. Installers and users can configure an open and close delay within the Neo app, allowing the system to ignore brief openings such as quick ventilation.
The sensor communicates via RF and does not rely on the mesh network, ensuring direct and reliable signalling to the hub.
