Heating Performance and Hot Water Delivery
Unlike standard electric combi boilers, the AuraHeat Stored Combi uses a pre heated internal tank to dramatically improve hot water performance. The 35 litre tank can be heated up to 80°C and is blended before passing through the instantaneous heating element, extending the usable hot water volume and allowing significantly higher flow rates.
With the tank at full capacity, the AuraHeat can achieve domestic hot water flow rates of up to 12 litres per minute at a 30°C temperature rise. Even when the tank is fully depleted, flow rates of up to 7 litres per minute are maintained. This level of performance allows for comfortable showers and makes filling a bath achievable with an electric boiler.
Recirc Technology Explained
The AuraHeat Recirc Technology feeds pre heated water from the internal tank back through the boiler’s instantaneous heating element rather than drawing directly from cold mains water. This process increases hot water longevity, improves flow rates and delivers a level of performance previously thought unachievable for electric boilers.
Operation Modes
The integrated tank can be configured in four different operating modes to suit varying lifestyles and usage patterns:
Always On The tank remains heated at the set temperature and is always ready for use.
Always Off The tank remains unheated, allowing the boiler to operate like a standard electric combi.
Boost Once The tank heats once in approximately 20 minutes, ideal for occasional higher demand.
Timed On The tank is programmed to heat at scheduled times each day.
